Badminton England is excited to announce the launch of Let’s Talk Badminton, our biggest ever community consultation designed to ensure that badminton returns stronger than ever.

With the launch of our roadmap for the return of play in line with the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown and juniors being able to return to court over the last couple of weeks, excitement is now building towards all players having the opportunity to get back on court and being able to hit shuttles again.

To help players return and to build a stronger sport than ever, we want to hear from the badminton community – whether it’s sharing your ideas on how badminton can come back stronger, letting us know about your experiences as a player or simply telling us how excited you are to be able to play again. By getting involved and feeding back it will help us to better understand experiences and identify ways we can support and improve these.

There are lots of ways to get involved including a community discussion wall to share your ideas and being able to see what others are suggesting, our National Players’ Survey which will be the largest survey we have ever undertaken of players, a chance for clubs and sessions to tell about their return to play plans, a return to play map to tell us where you are playing and group sessions where we want the badminton community to come together and collaborate on our return to play.

Crucially, Let’s Talk Badminton will shape how we support the badminton community’s return and will be followed by activity designed to raise the profile of badminton and encourage players to return, taking advantage of the opportunities of an Olympic and Paralympic summer.

Adrian Christy, Chief Executive said ‘I am delighted to see Let’s Talk Badminton launch. If we are to return from lockdown stronger than ever, we need to hear from our badminton community about how we can support you and, more importantly, what ideas you have to achieve that. So, please get involved and help shape our future.’

We are badminton. We are stronger together. Head over to our Let’s Talk Badminton Hub and get involved now.
