The successful candidate will work under the leadership of the Head Coach and deliver coaching programmes primarily for the Senior National Squad Singles players from our training centre at Scotstoun National Badminton Centre They will also provide input to the development and implementation of programmes designed to grow the capacity and competence of individual players within the overall performance programme.  They may also be required to support the NJPNM to deliver programmes to identify and develop potential high performing athletes through our Regional Performance Programme.

The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience of working with performance athletes, including planning and delivering programmes within a High Performance environment. Crucially the role requires excellent interpersonal skills to provide effective feedback to the players and work closely with the wider coaching team and colleagues across Badminton Scotland staff.
