General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Badminton England is highly respectful of the data it collects from those who engage in our sport. Whether that be members, ticket purchasers, coaches, volunteers, competition players etc, Badminton England is committed to ensuring that your data is only used within the permissions you allow in order to enhance your enjoyment of badminton.

We are also committed to ensuring compliance with GDPR ahead of the enforcement date of 25 May 2018 and are currently in the processes of taking advice from the Information Commissioners Officer and our legal advisors as well as working with a selection of clubs, County Badminton Associations and tournament organisers to develop an evolving series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) which we will begin posting on this page shortly.

Please note, that we will not be responding directly to individual questions on compliance with GDPR, however we would be pleased to add them to the FAQs – please send your question to ea@badmintonengland.co.uk.
