Middlesex narrowly lead the pack following an exciting second weekend in the Senior County Championships Premiership season.
Milton Keynes set the scene for the most recent instalment of the Premiership with just one weekend of action left to secure the title.
Despite a dramatic 7-4 loss to title rivals Buckinghamshire, Middlesex remain a point clear the top of the table.
The table toppers fell to defeat in all but one of their doubles matches on Sunday, leading to their first loss in six games having started the weekend with a 9-2 win over Avon on Saturday.
Buckinghamshire’s Sam Westwood continues to fly the flag as the highest ranked female with a perfect record of nine wins from nine, linking up with women’s doubles partner Estelle van Leeuwen across the weekend.

Hampshire’s Ting Yu Goh is the highest ranked male player to retain a perfect record, with 12 wins from his 12 matches.
Just two points separate Yorkshire in fourth from eighth-placed Leicestershire in a congested middle of the table.
Yorkshire shone throughout the weekend, recording impressive 8-3 wins against Hertfordshire and Surrey to fly up to fourth.
Women’s doubles duo Sian Kelly and Jennifer Wallwork continued their impressive form and have now won 11 of their 15 matches so far this season.
Bottom-placed Lancashire boosted their hopes of survival with a 6-5 win over Leicestershire, a three-game men’s doubles match making all the difference as Alan Clarkson and Kar Hon Luu claimed the decider.
Tom Wolfenden has been instrumental in his team’s performance this season, bringing home 11 of their 24 points so far.
After losses to Leicestershire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire over the weekend, Cheshire areonly team without a win and sit second bottom after picking up 11 points from their three ties.
The SCC Premiership season concludes with another action-packed weekend on March 25 and 26.
