By now, you will have seen the news that the country is moving to Step 2 next week, which means the removal of further restrictions – and most importantly, the first step in the return of indoor badminton.
While we welcome the government announcement, and badminton moves one step closer to returning at all levels, we share the frustrations of many of our clubs and members who are still be unable to return at this. The positive news is that the following indoor activity is allowed from 12th April, where facilities are open:
– Junior organised activity
– One on one coaching for juniors and adults
– One on one recreational play (household only)

We look forward to bringing you further good news as the next step in reopening gets closer. For now, we hope those who are able to return to court enjoy their first time back, and the rest of you continue to stay safe.
