Junior National Championships

The 2022 Junior National Championships will be staged through November and December 2022 as per the list below:

  • Under 13 Nationals     19th – 20th November 2022     National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
  • Under 15 Nationals     3rd – 4th December 2022         National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
  • Under 17 Nationals     26th – 27th November 2022    National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
  • Under 19 Nationals     9th – 11th December 2022        National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes

Age Eligibility​

U19: Born 2004 or later / U17: Born 2006 or later / U15: Born 2008 or later / U13: Born 2010 or later.

Online Entry

Entry for all age group National Championships will be online, in due course, and will only take a few minutes to complete.  Full Terms & Conditions will be seen on the first step of online entry, as soon as they are confirmed, before proceeding.

Coming Soon

  • Member of and in good standing with Badminton England*.
  • Does not enter the National Championships of any other Country in the same season.
  • Has not represented any other BWF Member Association in last three years

  • Born in England
  • Parent Born in England
  • Has been resident in England for 3 years or more (and still currently resident)
  • Last represented England

To qualify for the Age Group National Championships a player must have played a minimum of 3 sanctioned circuit tournaments of which 1 must be in the age group of the Championships being entered, except for the U19 National Championships, where there are no qualifying events applicable for entry. Must have a Compete membership upgrade required to be able to enter the competition.

Qualification requirements may be waived. Application must be made in writing and include supporting evidence (exceptional circumstances only e.g.: – illness or injury), to competition@badmintonengland.co.uk at Badminton England prior to the closing date.

*Qualification criteria for all Junior Nationals Championships in January 2020 will be waived.
