It was a job well done for the England squad who secured top spot in their group at the European Mixed Team Championships qualifiers at the weekend.
The 19-strong England team were able to compete on home soil once again following the inaugural England Challenge Cup.
The National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes played host and welcomed teams from Sweden, Estonia and Hungary for the qualification event.
The team first overcame Hungary 4-1 on the opening day of play followed by the same score line to push past Estonia on Friday.
It was a closer affair against Sweden on the final day, however following Sweden’s defeat to Estonia on day one, England knew what they had to do and won 3-2.
With three wins under their belt, England look ahead to the finals in Finland in February.
