England host European Mixed Team event

A 19-strong England squad will compete on home soil once more this week, as the 2020 European Mixed Team Championship qualifiers are staged in Milton Keynes.

The National Badminton Centre will welcome international teams from Sweden, Estonia and Hungary from Thursday to Saturday.

Following the inaugural England Challenge Cup which took place in the same venue just days earlier, many of the England team will once again enjoy getting back to some competitive badminton at the end of a tumultuous year.

The event gets underway with Sweden vs Estonia at 10am on Thursday, followed by England vs Hungary at 2pm.

Friday sees Sweden face Hungary at 10am with England vs Estonia at 2pm.

The final day of competition begins with Estonia vs Hungary and closes with England vs Sweden at 2pm.

The action will be live on Badminton England’s YouTube Channel.
