Badminton England launch new 2020-21 Club Volunteer Webinar programme

Badminton England is proud to launch a brand-new calendar of Club Volunteer training webinars, running monthly from September 2020 throughout the year

These free online webinars cater for volunteers of all experience levels and are relevant to all types of volunteer roles within a club setting. We have primarily set these up to provide regular training opportunities for our Club Volunteers, so they feel confident in their roles, and to ultimately help clubs run smoothly. From our National Volunteer Survey (2020) we know it is difficult to recruit new volunteers with the necessary skills. We hope the webinars also provide new volunteers with the necessary skills who would like to embark on their volunteer journey through supporting a local club.

Each month uncovers a different theme, enabling you to learn from an expert, improve your knowledge and skills, and help your club thrive. Topics include: Developing a Marketing Strategy, Club Health Check, Participant Experience, Safeguarding and Leadership teams.

Webinars will be delivered digitally by a combination of Badminton England staff and Sport Structures facilitators, as part of the Sport England Club Matters programme. Each webinar is 1 or 2 hours in length and will be interactive to ensure you get the most out of attending.

Booking is now open and is essential to reserve your space. Please click here to view the full details of each webinar and to book.
