Badminton England is excited to announce the launch of BETV this March to support the 2021 YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships.
With the Championships taking place behind closed doors for the first time since it was held in 1899, Badminton England want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to keep up with the action from what proves to be an unforgettable tournament this year.
Alongside the BBC online stream, BETV will be showing live action from all 5 courts for the duration of the Championship. And with free access for members, it’s a fantastic opportunity for fans and players alike to watch the World’s best at Birmingham. Not currently a member? For a limited time, individuals that sign up to a Badminton England Membership before the 8th March 2021 will be granted access for free this year.
Badminton England Chief Operating Officer, Giles Dunning, said:
“The fans that attend The YONEX All England Championships are as big a part on the event as the world class badminton that is played there. So while we can’t get the fans to the arena, we can take the arena to the fans. But this isn’t just about live badminton, BETV will continue to provide badminton enthusiasts with content on all aspects of the game.”
