Kirby Ngan will make her debut senior appearance for England after being selected as part of a 17-strong squad for the sixth European men's and women's European Team Championships in Kazan, Russia next month.
Ngan has risen through the junior ranks and the 18-year-old has been rewarded with a berth at the biennial event, held at Kazan's Gymnastics Centre between February 16-21.
The Championships act as qualification for the Thomas and Uber Cup, which will be held in Kunshan, China in May.
Chris and Gabby Adcock, England's top doubles pairing, will not travel to the week-long campaign in Kazan. The married couple compete as a mixed doubles pairing only at present and therefore will not be competing in the respective men's and women's events.
England women, searching for their first medal since the Championships were first held in 2006, have been pitted in a group consisting of Germany, France and Wales.
Kirby follows the early career path of Rajiv Ouseph, who also made his senior international debut for England at the 2006 edition in Greece.
The men's Thomas Cup squad, meanwhile, will start their bid against Estonia, with Bulgaria and Hungary to follow.
England men will be looking to topple Denmark, who have held bragging rights five times in succession. England won their second silver in 2014.
Men: Rajiv Ouseph, Toby Penty, Rhys Walker, Sam Parsons, Chris Langridge, Marcus Ellis, Peter Mills, Peter Briggs, Tom Wolfenden
Women: Fontaine Chapman, Chloe Birch, Kirby Ngan, Heather Olver, Lauren Smith, Kate Robertshaw, Sophie Brown, Sarah Walker
