The International Para-Badminton Championships tournament has secured its first official supplier ahead of the flagship event in June.
Southport-based design company DPI will sponsor the championships, which is being held at Loughborough University from 24-29 June.
The event brings together the best players from the UK, Europe and around the world for outstanding competition across a number of classifications.
It is the highest Para-Badminton ranked event of the International circuit in Europe and BADMINTON England is delighted to host such a prestigious competition.
DPI is currently BADMINTON England’s production and installation specialist for many of its competitions and events, including the Yonex All England Open Championships and English National Championships.
Carl Meadows, Signage Director at DPI, said: “We are delighted to be named as an official supplier of the International Para-Badminton Championships tournament.
“We wanted to give something back and this was the ideal opportunity. Now we can’t wait for the tournament.”
The profile of Para-Badminton continues to rise through the remarkable success of the England Para-Badminton team and the ongoing campaign to include the sport in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
