Our 8-court hall is the home of the English national badminton team and provides the perfect setting for anyone to develop their game.
There are a variety of ways you can get involved in playing Badminton at the NBC
Book a court individually – pre book available court time for yourself be it for match-play, coaching or just a bit of fun.
No Strings Badminton – Whatever your reason for joining like-minded people on court, No Strings Badminton is our hugely popular ‘pay and play’ initiative that continues to delight players. Designed to suit around your schedule, you’ll come off that court feeling fantastic whether you’ve won, lost or drawn.
Club Badminton – We are home to diverse range of senior and junior badminton clubs, more information on many of them can be found at https://www.badmintonmk.co.uk/
Coaching – We offer weekly coaching and match-play sessions on Thursday’s aimed at beginner and intermediate players, these are led by a qualified and accredited coach. We also offer weekend group or club residential courses led by international coaches.

Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the centre
After an exciting game on court; wind down in our saunas located in spacious changing rooms, plenty of lockers are available for you to secure your belongings in.
The on-site Restaurant is open for a hot buffet breakfast every day until 10am for only £6. All members of the public can purchase tea, coffee and snacks all day from our Lavazza Vending Machines during our reception opening hours.
Bar
Watch all of the latest sport on Sky sports and BT sports in the bar and enjoy playing a friendly game of pool or table tennis. Drinks in the bar are served from 18:00.

Badminton Club Membership – £12.00 per year (includes discounted court rate).

Monday-Friday 07:00-23:00 & Saturday-Sunday 09:00-22:00

At present all players at the NBC need to be members to book or to play on court. We intend to welcome non-members back on court as COVID restrictions ease. On court activities will be limited in line with the easing of lockdown restrictions, see more here.
