PLAY BADMINTON FOR HEALTH, FITNESS OR JUST FOR FUN

In preparation for the WI's Sports Week from 12-18 September 2016, Badminton England is offering your federation the opportunity to take part in bespoke badminton programmes to encourage you and your members to get active on court in fun, sociable environments where you get to play the way you want.

With around 24,000 badminton courts in England, it's easy to book a game at your local leisure centre to play with friends and family. But to make it even easier you can explore our great ways to play and search for an existing session or course or why not set up your own for your WI federation with a bit of help from Badminton England.

More about Essentials:

Our Essentials courses are led by fully qualified badminton coaches who will teach you a different skill each week in a fun, relaxed-pace environment. You can then take your new badminton skills and on-court confidence to continue playing with friends, at a club or a local No Strings session.

JUST FOR YOU

We're offering you the chance to arrange your own bespoke Essentials course at one of our 'Play Badminton' partner leisure sites across England.

At a 4-court facility a course can take up to 16 participants at a standard cost of around £40 per person which includes a FREE RACKET to get you started on your badminton journey. Interested? See the contact details below.

More about No Strings:

Our No Strings programme is a great way to socialise, meet new like-minded people, get fit and healthy and have fun. Led by a Badminton Activator to welcome you and ensure you have fun on court. The average cost of a session is around £3.

JUST FOR YOU

There are around 800 No Strings sessions nationwide so you can search for an existing session or talk to us about setting up a new session for your federation at one of our 'Play Badminton' partner leisure sites.
