Tanya Chethan – Adults Manager

Tanya Chethan

Area of work/focus

As the Adults Manager, I work mainly towards making the sport more accessible and inclusive through the No Strings Badminton programme. I engage with individuals from across the country to help set up sessions targeting teens and adults from a cross-section of communities.

Background

I have played Badminton for about 18 years now, it is an integral part of who I am. My love and involvement with sport led me to doing my Masters in Sport & Exercise Psychology. I’m about to graduate this September and it makes me immensely happy to be working at BE, a part of an organisation that is all about the sport I love!

Badminton buzz!

As someone that has grown up playing the sport, I know first-hand how much of an impact it can have on a person. I’d like to stay connected with Badminton and help leave that impact on as many people as possible!
