As Clubs Manager I specifically lead on the club conference, the development fund, and developing supporting resources. My role focuses on providing a framework to help clubs grow and ensuring all clubs have the appropriate support to fulfil their ambitions, whilst offering welcoming, inclusive, safe, and enjoyable experiences. 

I have worked in sports development since leaving university (many years ago) and worked for Badminton England since 2018. I have been involved in all areas of the sport – as a player I competed for England, I am a current coach with my own junior badminton club, and I tutor new coaches on our Coach Education Courses. 

I feel immensely grateful to work in a sport I love and have got so much from. I am inspired by all the clubs, volunteers and coaches within our badminton community who provide opportunities and make badminton happen and if I make even a small impact through the work I do, then it’s worth it!
