Following on from the successful second edition of the club and coach conference in 2024, Badminton England are pleased to announce the conference will return on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2025 and bookings are now open!
The Conference is designed to connect, educate, and inspire those who are key to the development of grassroots badminton and will be led by expert presenters, clubs, and coach developers, who will be sharing their learning and expertise. This year’s conference will feature keynote speaker, Chris Langridge, sharing the story of his journey to becoming Olympic Bronze Medalist at Rio in 2016 in Men’s Doubles.
Several workshops will be on offer throughout the weekend, delivered by coaches, coach developers and subject matter experts, including:
- Developing links with schools
- Effective Marketing Strategies
- Progressing technical skills
- Effective use of game-based practices
- Racket feeding techniques
- A sport that cares
- Working with players with Autism & ADHD
- Coaching singles effectively
- How to source funding easier
- Observation of U13 England Junior Performance Programme Camp
- Introducing BE Ready – our new activation warm up routine
The event promises to be full of useful content and will be a great opportunity to speak with BE staff and network with other clubs and coaches from across the country.
The cost of the event is £30 per person, and lunch, refreshments and a 2025 conference branded gift are included.
