Badminton England are pleased to launch our annual National Volunteer Survey, which aims to capture in-depth information from Badminton volunteers across the country across all kinds of voluntary roles to understand how we can better support our workforce.

The short survey covers a range of insight from behaviours to motivation and satisfaction levels. It gives volunteers a chance for their voice to be heard, through providing feedback which is invaluable to guide Badminton England as to where future efforts need to be placed.

Hannah Davis-Coward, said: “Volunteer habits have changed, particularly following the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We want to ensure we are providing the best support we can to ensure volunteers continue to feel supported and valued, and have a really positive experience to stay involved.

“This data is critical to inform our future work as we strive to meet the emerging needs of the people who make badminton happen.”

The survey takes just 15-20 minutes for those currently volunteering, and just five minutes for those who aren’t actively volunteering, which will allow us to better understand the barriers.

All feedback is strictly confidential and will only be used in aggregated form. It will be hugely valuable for the Badminton England in shaping its volunteering support in the future.

We encourage you to share with anyone who volunteers within a Badminton setting to ensure the best response rate and the most reliable conclusions.

As a thank you for taking part, you will be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win one of ten sets of £50 Amazon vouchers.
