Badminton England is delighted to announce that we have renewed our partnership with Babolat for a further three years as an Official Equipment Supplier.
Having worked alongside Babolat for the past five years, they will continue to support our Circuit Tournaments, Senior County Championships, U18 Inter County Championships, National Schools Championships and No Strings Badminton. They will also be extending new support to our Coach Education & Development Programmes.
Adrian Christy, Badminton England Chief Executive, said: “I am thrilled to extend the great partnership we have with Babolat.
“Their support to our sport, covering both grassroots participation and competitive play, is so vital and we cannot wait to continue this journey with them as the badminton community, up and down the country, returns to the on court.”
Aidan Graveson, UK Country Manager at Babolat VS said: “We are delighted to have renewed our partnership with Badminton England for a further three years as an Official Equipment Supplier.
“This allows us to build on our previous five years’ work together, continuing to support the community programmes, junior and senior competition structures as well as the England Development Hubs.
“It is hugely important to us at Babolat, as a leading rackets sports manufacturer developing our position in the UK market, to work alongside NGBs in protecting, building and evolving the infrastructure of our sports, and our team very much look forward to helping drive the return to the courts.”
To celebrate our partnership renewal, Badminton England is also offering members the chance to test Babolat’s new hybrid shuttles before they go on general sale this summer.
With increased durability and an AB grade for flight quality, Babolat recommend the hybrid shuttle as the perfect alternative for training sessions.
There are 15 tubes up for grabs for clubs and coaches to test and feed back on, with all entrants being offered a one–off discount with Direct Sports on Babolat products.
