About the 4 Nations Para Badminton International
The 4 Nations Para Badminton International is a collaborative international Para badminton tournament created in partnership between the badminton federations of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The event has been created bring together the four Nations on several initiatives with the intention of sharing resources, learning and expertise that will enable more people to play badminton, including those with disabilities, develop more and better coaches, enable better trained and deployment of technical officials, increase competition opportunities for our members and local players and develop stronger governance standards
Each nation will take ownership of the event welcoming players from across the world to some of the UK and Ireland’s wonderful Cities.
In 2023, The 4 Nations Para Badminton International will be hosted by Badminton England and will take place at the English Institute Of Sport in Sheffield from 2-6 August. As a Badminton World Federation Para Badminton World Circuit Level 1 tournament, the worlds very best players will be competing in a tournament that carries valuable qualification points for the Paris Olympics 2024.
Badminton England will use the event to inspire a new generation of badminton players across England, with a particular focus on Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
In 2024 the tournament will move to Glasgow, where Badminton Scotland will deliver The 4 Nations Para Badminton International.
