Education to Community Link
An Education to Community Link is a formal agreement between an educational establishment and a community badminton setting. The link is designed to help both parties further their aims. This Agreement is to be used as confirmation of agreed actions between two (or more) badminton environments to ensure robust and sustainable participant and volunteering pathways.
BADMINTON England recognises that the level of badminton that can be provided within schools, FE Colleges and Clubs varies according to demand, capacity, resources and facilities. The link that can be established between education and the community can thus be significantly different from one local area to the next.
The criteria are aligned with those achieved as a Premier Club, Premier School, Premier College or Performance Centre. This Agreement is to be used as confirmation of agreed actions between two (or more) badminton environments to ensure robust and sustainable participant and volunteering pathways.
