The World Class Programmes are Sport England lottery funded programmes with the following aims:
WORLD CLASS START
At the World Class Start level there are three squads: U15 Squad, U13 Squad and U11 Squad.
The aim of the World Class Start programme is to identify exceptionally talented young performers and give them a comprehensive basis on which to build future World Class success.
The Start level is for players aged up to 15 years old.
WORLD CLASS POTENTIAL
At the World Class Potential level there is the U19 Squad and U17 Squad.
The aim of the World Class Potential programme is to select performers with great potential and develop their talents in order to give them the greatest chance of achieving major senior international success.
The Potential level is for players aged 15-19 years old.
Places on the English Junior Programmes are offered to players who meet the relevant areas of potential and development identified as key for future success on a world stage. For information on the Tiers and criteria within the Junior Programmes, please click here.
