Application & Outcomes

Self-Assessment

The Summary of Performance Centre Criteria are the minimum operating standards which need to be achieved in order to operate as a Performance Centre.  It will not be necessary in every instance that criterion are met prior to award, and can be worked towards over the three-year tenure.  Further and more detailed guidance about these expectations are included within the Development Plan template, which can be found below in the Application Resources section.

If your club is interested in applying to become a Performance Centre, please contact your Regional Manager and County Badminton Association.

Application

Application is an open and transparent process, although there is a limit to the funding available.  However, as demonstrated by the models and guidelines within the Coaching & Mentoring Handbook it is possible and it is the long-term vision  that all Performance Centres can be self-financing.  Consequently if funding is not available you are still eligible to pursue and apply for Performance Centre status.

This section of the website provides a suite of resources and templates designed to support the overall application and post offer process.
