Welcome to BADMINTON England’s Virtual Badminton League.
The competition is open to Change 4 Life clubs and Premier League 4 Sport Badminton clubs.
Schools will use the Virtual Badminton League Toolkit to run festival type activities during club time. The activities can take place on one day or over a number of weeks.
Teams record their scores and submit them to BADMINTON England. These scores are then displayed on a national table on our website so each team can see how they compare to other schools around the country. The team at the top of the table on
18th July 2012 is the winning team.
Each school can enter up to 10 mixed teams of 8 players. Players can be from years 7-11. If you are running the competition on one day, 80 pupils (10 teams) can be accommodated in a four court badminton hall. The event should take no longer than 2 hours to complete.
The winning school will receive a trophy and individuals will receive some prizes. The two runner-up schools will receive goodie bags!
