How to set up a Badminton Club

Your Change4Life Badminton Club is up and running. But there maybe ways that you could improve the running of the Club.

How to deliver a variety of sessions - Kicking up a Racket!

This resource will provide coaches, leaders and helpers with a series of lessons designed to meet the needs of children and young adults at introductory levels of our sport. 

Club Accreditation 

Clubmark is a cross-sport quality accreditation for junior clubs or clubs with junior sections.  Premier Club is BADMINTON England’s Clubmark standard.

It is vital that our clubs serve young people well. Badminton clubs that work with children and young people need and deserve support to improve the quality of work they do so that together we can:

• Ensure the well-being of young people whilst in the care of adults, other than their legal parent(s)/carer(s) Link to Clubmark website
• Enthuse young people to enjoy sport and active recreation to build a healthy and active lifestyle
• Enable young people to use their leisure time creatively
• Allow young people to optimise their talents and personal ability
• Identify and support the development of the most talented young people

Making money for your Club

This section of the website details a number of ways that you can obtain fundng for your club e.g. Cash 4 Clubs and Sport England's Small Grants programme. 
There is also a small section on opportunities and initiatives for clubs e.g. membership to Volunteering England.
