junior circuit U13 GOLD U-13 GOLD CIRCUIT SCHEDULE
Players born on or after 1 Jan 2000 are eligible to play in this age group.

The U-13 GOLD circuit is made up of 7 events, starting in September 2012.  Any grade of player may enter these events however valid entries received from all players Grade F and above from within their own age group will take priority.

> Games will be best of 3 to 21 rally points, extended to 30 if necessary.
> All disciplines are seeded (on current rankings & known form of foreign entrants)
> All Gold Tournaments will be two day events.                                                                 > GOLD and GOLD STAR Singles will operate in this age group where required.

Notes

 > The Gold singles event will only be split into GOLD and GOLD STAR if the number of players who are Grade F and above is 24+ boys and 16+ girls. Maximum number of players in Gold Star will be 18.

> If a player[s] withdraws from a Gold Star singles event after the draw is confirmed, they will not be replaced by players from Gold Singles or the reserve list.

> The draw may be adjusted in accorance with Regulations for Pool Tournaments

 A maximum of 2 wild cards requested by Junior Performance Head Coach may be used by the Competition & Events Department.  A maximum of 1 wild cards requested by Junior Performance Head Coach may be used by the Competition & Events Department. *Where the closing date of an event occurs before the previous Gold event has been completed, BADMINTON England reserve the right to use wild cards to allow players entry into the first available Gold Star event.

**Players must be considered of suitable standard and BADMINTON England will use relevant information in making this decision.

Drug Testing:  Please be aware that drug testing may take place at domestic tournaments as well as international tournaments. If you enter a BADMINTON England sanctioned tournament you can be called to be tested.
