Training

Performance Centres are a focal point that links schools and other clubs in the local community on a pathway to the world of performance badminton.  A true player-centred environment understands that in order to ‘raise the bar’ they must work together as part of a Nation, putting the needs of the player first.

  • Performance Centres create a good learning climate, where players are surrounded by friends, role-models and mentors, providing the opportunities for the most talented players to progress.
  • They seek to produce successful and well-balanced individuals
  • They recognise that the development of their coaching teams and volunteers are integral to the overall vision of future medal hopes.

Performance Centres seek to ignite the desire in young minds, present a clear pathway and highlight the incentives and little victories along the way, doing their best to make the experience purposeful - fulfilling and enjoyable for all players involved.

The Performance Centres platform will help to develop a landscape where players commit to performance badminton.  We want to see players pushing themselves beyond their current limit and always striving to learn and develop new skills while at the same time continuing to enjoy the sport, enjoy winning and have fun with friends while playing.

"The trial has been truly fantastic for my son. He’s loved every minute and the confidence this newfound sportiness has inspired appears to have infected every other area of his life. His school teachers are amazed at his enthusiasm and vigour. I can’t thank you enough for giving him this opportunity."
