The renewal season will commence on 1st November 2010 until 31st October 2011 this will give clubs time to collate their membership details for the coming season. Your current 2009/10 membership will therefore be extended until October 31st including insurance to allow for this change.

The new Club, League and County ‘How To’ documents will take you through the online membership system, Vision from start to finish whilst highlighting the new enhancements for the 2010/11 season. Clubs will be able to go on line before November 1st in order to start their club renewal process, this date will be released nearer the time with further instructions.

Membership Cards will be introduced this season and will be sent to all Senior Club Members, Junior Club Members and Helpers, Volunteers and Officials once their club has processed their renewal and we have received payment. Therefore the club main contact must ensure that we have full address details for all members, if not we can not guarantee that a membership card will be sent.

Email addresses, in order for members to receive the monthly e-newsletter and have access to our new online shop an email address must be submitted for each member. If not we can not guarantee that all communications will be received by the member.

The next issue of Courtside will be sent in September and then December, March, June. In order for members to receive this benefit we must have a complete address and they must be active. Therefore if a club does not renew until the New Year none of the members will be entitled to receive the magazine until the March issue.
If more then one member resides in the same household only one Magazine will be sent

If you have a new Club Main Contact taking over for the 2010/11 season, please let the membership team know by email – membership@badmintonengland.co.uk or by phone 01908 – 268400, we can then send out new login details to access the online renewal system.

Once you have completed your renewals online your County, associated Leagues and BADMINTON England will see that your club status will change from Lapsed to Payment Pending. Once we have accepted received and accepted payment your club status will change from Payment Pending to Active – it is at this point that you will be considered an affiliated club and processed members will become active.

We are aiming to process your club, if there are no related queries, on the day we receive the remittance form and cheque. This will then allow us to send out the Club Renewal Pack out to the Club Main Contact and activate your members. PLEASE NOTE IF THE CHEQUE AMOUNT DOES NOT MATCH THE ORIGINAL REMITTANCE FORM VALUE THIS WILL CAUSE A DELAY.

Your county fees (if they are sent direct to BADMINTON England) will be sent to your county on a weekly basis and then monthly from the financial team. If for any reason you request a refund only the BADMINTON England fees will be returned to you, you will need to request your county fees refund from your county.

Postal Clubs, please realise that we hope to process postal club renewal documentation and activate them within 10 working days of receipt. If you wish your club to be processed quicker then we advise that you submit your renewal information via the online renewal system.
