In May 2008 twelve Primary schools were contacted and invited to attend a two hour session of badminton coaching in the Church High School sports hall.  The sessions were aimed at year 5 pupils in nine schools and year 4 pupils in 3 schools.

The East Midlands hosted the first National finals of the National Inter-Schools Badminton Championships on Thursday 24th and Tuesday 29th April at Moorways Sports Centre in Derby. Read more to find out the results...

Tuesday 11th March saw the regional South West round of the National Inter-Schools Championships run by BADMINTON England.  The competition was held at Exeter University’s and was organised by the regional Badminton Development Officers (BDOs).
