England’s fine pedigree in veteran’s age group badminton will be put to the test on March 4th when they renew on-court rivalries with old foe, Scotland for the McCoig Trophy.

The entries are in for the Yonex All England Open Championships - and it promises to be one of the most competitive tournaments in the history of the oldest tournament in world badminton when the players head for the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham from March 8-13.
Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork retained their mixed doubles title at the English National Championships in Manchester this afternoon. Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork survived a semi-final scare at the English Nationals by saving three match points against Robin Middleton and Heather Olver. The mixed is Sunday's first final followed by women's and men's singles and women's and men's doubles. Tickets are available on the door and doors open 12.30pm (2pm start)
