It proved to be 3rd time lucky for The Elizabethan School from Notts[pictured] whilst girl power prevailed for Stantonbury Campas as they both emerged victorious in the grand finals of the Year 7,8,9 Center Parcs National Schools Badminton Championships at Sherwood Forest
Chris Adcock and Imogen Bankier had to settle for bronze tonight at the European Championships in Sweden. Adcock also finished with a second bronze after he and Andy Ellis (pictured) lost their men's doubles semi-final.
Chris Adcock secures England's first medal at the European Championships when he and Scotland's Imogen Bankier won another terrific duel with Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork in Sweden tonight. And as a bonus he and Andy Ellis are assured a men's doubles bronze.

Yorkshire's latest crop of talented young badminton players ensured the county were back to title winning ways at the weekend as they were crowned Harrod U17 Inter Counties Tournament [ICT] champions for the 18th time.
