BADMINTON England have teamed up with BBC 3 Counties Radio to auction off 2 tickets for the Finals Day of the prestigious YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships at the NIA in Birmingham – with the winning bid being donated to Children in Need.

The English National Badminton Championships will return to Manchester for the eighth time in a row in February - with a host of records being chased.

With the Regional Inter County Championships already well underway, it was the turn of the counties in the Premier Divisions to take centre stage on the 13th/14th November.

BADMINTON England today applauded plans to boost participation in sport as part of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic legacy with Chief Executive Adrian Christy particularly heartened by the emphasis on investing in people.
