England's Mariana Agathangelou and Scottish partner Jillie Cooper won the Yonex Welsh Open women's doubles title yesterday.
Nathan Robertson and Anthony Clark's bold run at the Yonex Sunrise Hong Kong Open came to an end in the semi-finals.
After a brilliant performance in the European Championships in Spain in September where England were top of the medals table, the team went on to win the 4th Six Nations Team Event in the Netherlands on the 13th and 14th November.
England today named their squad to face Poland in Warsaw on December 16 when Nathan Robertson will make his 93rd international appearance and Cheshire's Helen Davies her senior international debut.
England's Under 19 players achieved first place in the Team Event at the recent U19 Northumberland International Open, held on the 21st November. The team, made up of Under 17 players, returned home victorious having defeated Wales, Scotland and Sweden.
