Bumper entry for European Team Championship
A total of 32 nations have confirmed their entries for the European Team Championship to be hosted by BADMINTON England at Echo Arena Liverpool from February 10-15 - and England have been seeded second behind holders Denmark.
The top eight seeds are 1 Denmark, 2 England, 3 Germany, 4 Poland, 5 Netherlands, 6 Russia, 7 France, 8 Ukraine.
Tickets are already on sale for the Championship, which offers home fans the chance to see new European mixed doubles champions and world No 3 pair Anthony Clark and Donna Kellogg spearheading the England bid barely two weeks after they attempt to make it a hat-trick of English National mixed doubles titles at Manchester Velodrome (Jan 30-Feb 1).
The new pairing of 2004 Olympic silver medallist Nathan Robertson and 21-year-old Jenny Wallwork will also be among the England stars on show. Robertson will be closing in on his 100th cap when he heads to Liverpool, having reached 92 in last week's 5-0 victory over Poland at Swindon when he partnered Clark in men's doubles.
