Australian Youth Olympic Festival (AYOF)

As the AYOF draws to a close the GB Badminton Team can look back on a educational, stressful but ultimately successful weeks work.

The total haul of the squad was 4 Bronze medals, going to;

Michelle Cheung - Singles
Gabby White & Chris Adcock - Mixed
Gabby White & Sam Ward - Ladies Doubles
Chris Adcock & Marcus Ellis - Mens Doubles

Team Leader Andy Wood thought the squads performance throughout their entire stay in Australia was highly commendable,

'The team have had to cope with a really tough schedule and fought hard throughout the week, its great that they have rounded off the week with some medals...The players will take a huge amount of knowledge back home with them and hoepfully be able to utilise what they have learnt and experienced in the future.'
