Dave Bartlett, Chairperson of the club was delighted with the news, "Thank you for this great news of Comets JBC achievement.  We will, in due course, be glad to promote and maximise the Silver benefits for our club not only through working with the BDO and RDM and BADMINTON England, but Herts Badminton Association, Herts Sports Village, Herts Sports Partnership, Welwyn Hatfield District Council and Herts County Council.  All of these groups will we're sure be glad to have an accredited club.  And by giving Comets publicity it will help not only us but help promote Badminton generally with these same groups and the community in general."
