BADMINTON England have today invited 12 Para-Badminton players to form the newly introduced Team England Para-Badminton squad - at Podium Performance and Podium Potential level - for 2012.
Players and Community Trusts of Premier League football clubs have inspired close to 10,000 young people to pick up a racket and give badminton a swing in 80+ new satellite clubs, the Premier League 4 Sport initiative have revealed.
With little more than three months to go before the London 2012 qualification period concludes, GB Badminton continues to demonstrate its focus on medal potential athletes to represent Great Britain at London 2012.
As BADMINTON England continue to drive up levels of organised casual court time and basic coaching for players rekindling their love of our sport, badminton clubs across the country are starting to reap the benefits as they embrace initiatives helping to get people back on court.
Center Parcs – supported Team England Masters needed to call upon all their experience to keep a firm grip on the McCoig Trophy as a rallying call from Scotland put up a stern fight in the 2012 bout of the annual Anglo-Scottish clash.
