Commonwealth bronze medallist Elizabeth Cann came through two tense qualifying battles to reach the main draw at the Yonex French Open in Paris.

The badminton action switches from Denmark to France this week as the England squad head for Paris and the Yonex French Open, which starts tomorrow with qualifying.

The next generation of Center Parcs -supported Team England badminton talent walked away with the U17 title at the Danish Junior Cup – but it took a miraculous fightback, and nerves of steel, to secure gold for the young squad.
