It is estimated that about 70 visitors came to the National Badminton Museum on September 12th from all over the country including as far away as Cheshire, Sussex and Gloucestershire. The museum Open Day was held in conjunction with Heritage Open Days all over the country.
The nominations for Cambridgeshire’s community 2009 Living Sport Awards are now underway.
Last week at the National Badminton Centre a World Class Coaching seminar was held which once again proved a roaring success.
The Irish leg of the 2009 4 Nations Disabled Badminton Championships will take place on Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd November 2009, at the ALSAA Sports Complex, Dublin Airport.
The International Challenge Tournament in Belgium ended last weekend and marked glory for Team England. They picked up a gold and silver medal marking a fantastic start to the new season.
Based at the National Badminton Centre, the National Badminton Museum has once again extended an invitation to anyone interested in learning about the history of badminton in their September Open day.
