BADMINTON England today launched a new championships for all 1,736 affiliated clubs.

The final round of the Carlton National Leisure Centre Championships took place on Saturday 26th May at the National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes. It was a hugely enjoyable and exciting finals day, which saw a high level of competition and some very close matches fought.

Joanne Nicholas and Natalie Munt were just edged out in the women's doubles final of the Spanish Open in Madrid.
