Season's Greetings from BADMINTON England

Season's Greetings from BADMINTON England.

BADMINTON England would like to wish all of our members a very merry Christmas and fantastic 2012, whilst celebrating the creative achievements of Rebecca Martin, aged 11 from Noadswood School who won this year's BADMINTON England Christmas card competition.

Rebecca's design is well loved across BADMINTON England and Chief Executive  Adrian Christy, who chose the winning design from the sack full of entries, said "We have some talented young players; we clearly have some talented young designers.

The competition for our Christmas Card design was as strong as ever and i would like to thank our Junior Members and young people from our affiliated schools who presented us with some great designs.

In the end Rebecca's design was chosen because it captures both the spirit of our great sport whilst remaining festive and fun!"

The e-card was sent to all of our BADMINTON England members, partners, colleagues from around the world last week which saw nearly 50,000 people receive it.

We would also like to congratulate our two runners up Kianne De Silva (aged 8 from Milton Keynes) and Kendal George (aged 14 from King Edward VII School) for their imaginative designs.

Both will also receive a BADMINTON England goody bag for their efforts.
