"We have just come out of a year where the profile of the unsung heroes of sport as well as those coaches and athletes who are so integral to success, has never been higher.

"The judging panel will have a tough task in selecting the winners because there are thousands of people involved in English badminton, at all levels, without whom we would never be able to do what we do as a sport - the National Badminton Awards gives us the opportunity to say a huge thank you and show our appreciation".

The winners will be selected by the Awards Panel and receive their awards at a celebration lunch being held at the world famous International Convention Centre, Birmingham on 8 March 2013.
