English interest as 4Nations Parabadminton heads to Ireland
7 English players are currently undergoing final preparations before flying to Belfast for this weekend’s 4 Nations Parabadminton Series 2011 Irish Championships (19-20th November).
The tournament represents a golden opportunity for some less experienced parabadminton players to grab precious 4 Nations ranking points and increase their level of competitive game time.
The English contingent heading to the Emerald Isles will be confident of securing a number of medals, and look particularly strong in the STD7 Dwarf classes.
England’s dwarf players are led by STD7 Men’s Doubles World No.1 pair Ollie Clarke and Andrew Martin (Kent) and Rachel Choong (pictured, Lancs), who is unbeaten in around a dozen 4 Nations tournaments, and will be aiming for a clean sweep of Gold medals.
