The very best of English badminton talent descends on Bolton Arena from 3-5 February 2012, to battle it out for the coveted title of English National Badminton Champion.

The event has never before been held at Bolton Arena, so we will be in for a whole new and exciting experience when the event is hosted there for the first time in the Championships history.

Players and fans will be familiar with Bolton Arena from when the Commonwealth Games were hosted there in 2002.

Commonwealth silver medallist Rajiv Ouseph will be bidding for a fifth consecutive National Championships men’s singles title, while Commonwealth bronze medallist Elizabeth Cann will be aiming to lift the women’s singles title for a fifth time.

Bolton-born Jenny Wallwork will also be looking to add to her two women’s doubles titles with Gabby White and two mixed doubles titles with Nathan Robertson.

The English National Badminton Championships showcase our finest English badminton athletes in action, and in addition to seeing who is going to be representing us in London 2012, it’s also a chance to sample the standout talent from our stars of the future.
