As a member of BADMINTON England we hope you are aware that Club Membership and Direct Membership will be coming to a close on the 31 October ready for the start of the new season on the 1 November. As you are hopefully all aware we are introducing the new, rebranded membership programme Club England and to support this launch the membership team has been kept busy over the summer months developing upgrades to the membership system, which you as a Club England member will be able to use.

All affiliated Clubs, Leagues and Counties have been kept up to date with these developments throughout the summer but as this is the penultimate e-newsletter of the 2010/11 season we wanted to inform you, our members, of what changes you are going to see as we hope to welcome you all back again next season.

New Membership Online Club England Portal
A new membership portal has been designed to include specific Membership information and include a secure log in area for all members. Once your renewal to BADMINTON England has been activated for the new season you will receive further information about this area. Or from the start of the 2011/12 season the area will be launched on the BADMINTON England website for you to explore.

Welcome Email
Every member of BADMINTON England will automatically be sent a Welcome email once you have been affiliated and activated. This email will include your membership number and your new personal log in and username so you will be able to access your personal profile page in order to update your own information. If you do not receive this welcome email it means that you have not been re-affiliated to BADMINTON England for the new season or we do not have a correct email address for you. If this is the case please do not be afraid to chase your Club Registration Secretary or contact the Membership Team directly.

Access to Personal Profile
All members will be able to log in to their own personal profile page and update their information. As mentioned above this information will be issued in your new Welcome email but will also be included with your Membership Card, which will be sent to you after your membership has been activated. This tool will allow you to be in control of the information that we have for you, but will also ensure that you can take full advantage of all the member benefits that you are entitled to receive throughout the season.

Please note: As a current member of BADMINTON England your membership will not expire until 31 October so you can carry on taking advantage of your current benefits until this date and your insurance will remain valid.

We hope to have all the renewal wizards open early next month to allow clubs to start renewing and process all the direct membership applications that we currently have, so you may receive your Welcome email sometime from next month onwards.
