BADMINTON England Youth Forum – members wanted!
BADMINTON England is now in the process of setting up 8 Regional Youth Forums. The Forums will give young people an opportunity to have a say about what goes on in the sport of badminton, looking specifically into how we encourage more young people into our great sport.
The 1st Forum is being held in the East Midlands Region on Friday 19th March at Sherwood Center Parcs in Nottinghamshire. We are currently recruiting for people living in the East Midlands to become members; if you are interested in coming along we ask that you are:
- Between the ages of 16 and 21 years
- Actively involved in either playing, volunteering, coaching or officiating in badminton – either in a school, college, university, club, county, Performance Centre, High Performance Centre or World Class programme
- Passionate about sport and the development of badminton for young people.
If you would like to attend the East Midlands forum, or would like to be invited for another future regional forum, please send us your brief CV and contact details to development@badmintonengland.co.uk
