BADMINTON England to launch new magazine
BADMINTON England today announced plans for the publication of a new magazine for its 50,000-strong membership.
CourtSide will replace Badminton Magazine as the Official Magazine of BADMINTON England from the next issue in December and it will be published by a new partner, 2b Graphic Design Ltd.
BADMINTON England Chief Executive Adrian Christy said: "This is a really exciting time for membership within BADMINTON England with a number of new opportunities being developed and released over the coming 12 months.
"We know how much our members enjoy reading the magazine and CourtSide will present an exciting re-design and editorial change of direction, which will include more input from BADMINTON England members at the grass roots level of the sport as well as keeping everyone informed of the game at international level.
"We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with iSPORTmedia in recent years and I would like to thank the team there for all their support to BADMINTON England. But we both felt it was time to change and I very much look forward to a similar relationship with 2b Graphic Design Ltd.”
Peter Tranter, partner of 2b Graphic Design Limited, said: “We look forward to forging an excellent relationship with BADMINTON England on this project and to working with the membership to hear exactly what they would like to see in the magazine and encourage those interested to send material.
"We aim to stimulate the entire badminton community, both members and advertisers, and our ambition is to create an inspiring magazine for the members of BADMINTON England, which they will look forward to receiving."
