Chris Adcock and Imogen Bankier’s incredible journey came to an  end at Wembley Arena this afternoon when they lost the mixed doubles final at the Yonex BWF World Badminton Championships.

BADMINTON England have issued a rallying call to fill Wembley Arena with a strong sense of national pride, urging members to wear RED and WHITE on the opening day of the Championships.

 THE BWF are to introduce live streaming of major tournaments, starting with the current Li-Ning Singapore Open.

The BWF today decided not to introduce the new clothing regulations and accepted a recommendation from the Women In Badminton Committee to make a further study.

Alex Langley celebrated her surprise World Badminton Championships wild card selection by winning the Mixed Doubles title at the Yorkshire Senior Diamond tournament - and there's mixed fortunes too for Harry Wright and Sarah Milne.

BADMINTON England’s legacy plan tied to Yonex BWF World Badminton Championships this August, will start to come alive next month, when the London regional team host a World Record Attempt at The O2.
