Tracey Hallam gave herself atimely boost before the next two Super Series events in Asia by winning the Israel International. There's good news, too, for Nathan Robertson, who is ready to tackle the Super Series again after a good recovery from his elbow operation.
The National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes was the venue for the Under 15 Quadrangular from the 26th to the 29th April. England selected a young squad bursting with enthusiasm and the results were very encouraging.
From the 26th to the 29th April the Under 17 England Squad participated in both the Team and Individual Tournaments at this seasons Six Nations Championships. Being held in Arnhem, the Netherlands, the squad found the event a tough learning experience.
The second stage of the Carlton National Leisure Centres Championships took place on Saturday 14th & 21st April. The winners of the regional rounds will now compete for the National Leisure Centre Championships Title on Saturday 26th May at the National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes.
The BWF 3rd World Senior Open Badminton Championships, organised by the Chinese Taipei Badminton Association, began in Taiwan yesterday. Find out who went in search of a World Championships title...
Jenny Wallwork and Suzanne Rayappan beat Sarak Bok and Liza Parker to take the women's doubles title at the Portuguese International title at Caldas De Rainha. Dean George and Chris Tonks were men's doubles runners-up.
