British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) have today confirmed the players selected to represent Great Britain in badminton at next month's 2013 World University Games in Kazan, Russia.
English National champions Chris Langridge and Heather Olver and runners-up Marcus Ellis and Alyssa Lim made a winning start at the SCG Thailand Open in Bangkok today. But there was a shock defeat for 2012 National champions and No. 6 seeds Chris Adcock and Gabby White.
BADMINTON England today announced that the English National Badminton Championships will leave Manchester, its base for the past nine years, and move to its home city of Milton Keynes from the 2014 Championships which will be held from 7-9 February.
Chris Adcock is seeded in both his doubles events as England's players tackle the SCG Thailand Open this week.
Heather Olver and Kate Robertshaw's reward for their Spanish title triumph is a rise of thre place to No. 27 in the world rankings. Olver is also in the top 30 of the mixed doubles with Chris Langridge (pictured).
